In your role as Training and Development Specialist, you will develop, deliver, and evaluate various training programs to enable new and existing employees to excel in their roles.

Detailed Description:
In this role you will:
- Facilitate training programs using a variety of delivery methods, including classroom, on-site, virtual and e-learning that are in alignment with and support the development and strategic needs of the credit union.
- Create, evaluate, design and update training materials and procedure manuals as needed, including facilitator guides, participant guides.
- Analyze training opportunities, determine desired performance results, and maintain integrity and quality of programs.
- Track the progress of trainees through routine tests, observation, and feedback from supervisors; evaluate the effectiveness of the current training.
- Maintain training programs that are accurate, thorough, effective, relevant, and compliant with all laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement new methods, procedures, solutions, concepts and/or applications of existing designs, procedures, or programs.
- Create and maintain a positive and professional learning environment.
- Complete required reports and documents; attend meetings as required.
- Establish relationships with vendors to provide additional outside training programs.
- Deliver service to both internal and external members that are in alignment with the credit unions Service Standards and meet all established service goals.
- Contribute work and effort to group performance to meet agreed upon objectives and achieve team success.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of best practices in talent development and training.
- Comply with the requirements of all Credit Union policies, procedures, and guidelines including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering regulations as they relate to the position.
- Comply with all security guidelines related to physical and information security.

Qualifications/Requirements

- You are a self-starter and are no stranger to a fast-paced environment and tight deadlines, and you are relentless in ensuring that work is completed through effective organization and task management.
You'll need to have:
- High school degree, GED or higher.
- Three or more years of similar or related experience.
Even better if you have:
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Experience working in a financial or banking institution.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Learning Management Systems, SharePoint, and other instructional design software.
